Streetsafe Evaluation, Year 8, Furness Academy

Posted by StreetSafe on July 13, 2010

Police Authority Members, visited Furness Academy Barrow on the 7th July to speak to year 8 pupils about what they consider to be policing priorities within the Barrow area. As part of the visit, other Police talks were arranged for the pupils.
During the Streetsafe session, it was explained to them the purpose of Streetsafe and what it has achieved in their communities. The students were then asked to complete the specially adapted questionnaire.
99 questionnaires were completed during the morning and below is the evaluation of the data the young people provided us with. The evaluation report will be forwarded to Furness Academy and circulated around all year 8 students.
I would like take this opportunity to thank the Police Authority for inviting us to the event, staff at Furness Academy for looking after us and most of all the Year 8 students for their input, interest, politeness and inspiring answers.
