I’ve been advising staff in a chinese takeaway on handling abusive & threatening behaviour. ( I have experience training & advising Jobcentre staff) Can ‘Street Safe’ put me in touch with a community police officer or PCSO so I can set up a dialogue between the takeaway staff and police on tackling anti social or abusive behaviour. They are not wanting to report a particular incident but need to be aware of what support is out there. I suspect this could be a problem in other takeaways. Thanks. Michael

Hi Michael, thank you for your enquiry. The first person you should speak to will be Sgt Ian McCLYMONT. He is in charge of Policing the night time economy. He will be happy to help you. If you ring 101 they will transfer you through to his extension. Alternatively, the email address for him will be on the cumbria police website under “your neighbourhood”. Please let me know how you get on
